Biography

Alexandra Devitt-Lansom is a Glass and Metal artist based in the Barossa Valley in South Australia.

Alexandra is presently undertaking a Masters in Human Rights, which is providing essential knowledge within her own arts practice. Her previous studies include a Bachelor of Arts with Honours in Fine Art at Curtin University of Western Australia, majoring in glass and ceramic sculpture.

Alexandra has managed numerous Community Cultural Development (CCD) Projects over the past 14 years. These projects successfully incorporated the bringing together of partnerships between the general community, health agencies, the visual arts and disability sectors in conjunction with local and state government agencies, NGO’s, community groups, businesses and numerous artists from varying fields of interest.
